Physics Quiz: Part 9
An interactive quiz on Electrostatics and Circuits.
Fundamental Concepts Review
Ohm's Law: The fundamental relationship in circuits is $V=IR$, connecting voltage (V), current (I), and resistance (R).
- Series Circuits: One path. Current is constant. $R_{eq} = R_1 + R_2 + ...$
- Parallel Circuits: Multiple paths. Voltage is constant. $\frac{1}{R_{eq}} = \frac{1}{R_1} + \frac{1}{R_2} + ...$
Kirchhoff's Laws: For complex circuits, use the Current Law ($\Sigma I_{in} = \Sigma I_{out}$ at a junction) and the Voltage Law ($\Sigma V = 0$ around a loop).
