Section Review

Logical Reasoning & General Knowledge

This large section (22 Qs) tested a wide range of skills. It included visual puzzles (tiles, paper folding), multi-step problem solving (scheduling, time calculations), data interpretation, and critical reasoning (analyzing arguments, identifying assumptions, and finding flaws). A few questions also required specific general knowledge in history and geography.

Biology

The 18 biology questions focused heavily on core concepts in molecular and cell biology. Key topics included organelles, nucleic acid structure (DNA/RNA), the central dogma (transcription/translation), meiosis, and Mendelian genetics. There was less emphasis on human anatomy or plant/animal physiology, making it a test of fundamental biological principles.

Chemistry

This section of 12 questions covered a standard chemistry curriculum. Major themes were acid-base chemistry (including salt hydrolysis), intermolecular forces and boiling points, stoichiometry, solution concentration, and molecular geometry (VSEPR). Organic chemistry questions focused on identifying functional groups and structural isomers.

Physics and Mathematics

The smallest section with 8 questions, it tested foundational concepts. Math questions involved algebra, coordinate geometry, and the Pythagorean theorem. Physics questions covered units, resistor circuits (series/parallel), static equilibrium (forces and torques), and basic kinematics with energy conservation.
