Application workflow

How to apply without missing a step

1

Confirm your applicant category

The open September call is for Italian, EU and equivalent candidates. Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, San Marino and the Holy See are treated as EU for this call. Non-EU applicants must use the separate Non-EU call.

2

Check your school qualification

You need an Italian secondary-school diploma or an eligible foreign qualification normally obtained after at least 12 years of schooling. Ten- or eleven-year systems require the additional academic study specified in the call.

3

Create your GOMP account

Register on UniCamillus' GOMP portal using an email address you monitor. Enter names, dates and identity data exactly as they appear on your official documents.

4

Open the correct admission call

Select the 2026/27 Medicine and Surgery in English - Rome Campus call. Review every field before confirming: a submitted application cannot be modified or supplemented.

5

Pay the €180 application fee

Pay from Tuition Fees > Payments in GOMP using PagoPA or the CBILL payment slip. The non-refundable payment must be received by the same deadline as the application.

6

Save your submission code

GOMP generates a unique code after submission. Keep it securely: UniCamillus uses it to publish and let you identify your result without displaying your name.

Prepare before opening GOMP

  • Valid identity document
  • Exact personal and contact details
  • Secondary-school qualification details
  • Privacy form, if requested in the portal
  • Payment method for PagoPA or CBILL
  • Disability/SLD certification, if applicable

Candidates requesting disability or SLD accommodations must send the qualifying Italian- or English-language medical certification by PEC to the address in the call by 16 September, 13:00. SLD candidates may receive 30% additional time where approved.

Payment is part of submission

Completing the form without a timely €180 payment does not create a valid application. Use only the payment methods made available in GOMP, keep the receipt and allow time for processing.

EU merit scholarships

UniCamillus lists €5,250 awards (25% of annual tuition) for eligible 2026/27 EU students in English Medicine. Applicants need a valid ISEE Diritto allo Studio of no more than €55,000 and must place among the first 50 beneficiaries in the ranking. The benefit is deducted from the last installment.

Non-EU scholarships / honour loans

The Foundation Progetto Salute lists full or partial support for deserving Non-EU students in financial need. A full “honours student loan” can cover tuition and may be redeemed after the graduate returns to an agreed country to work for at least three years. Selection is separate from admission.

Questions applicants ask

UniCamillus admissions FAQ

Is the UniCamillus test the IMAT?+

No. UniCamillus uses its own admission test and ranking. Applying for this call does not register you for the IMAT, and an IMAT application does not register you for UniCamillus.

Can a Non-EU applicant use the open September EU call?+

Only if the applicant falls within an equivalent category recognised by the call. Otherwise, the separate Non-EU call applies. The 2026/27 Non-EU Medicine call shown by UniCamillus closed on 4 June 2026, so do not submit under the wrong category to bypass a deadline.

Do I need an English certificate?+

The current call makes the admission test itself English-language and does not list a separate IELTS/TOEFL upload as an application condition. You should still have enough English to study medicine and follow clinical training; always check later enrollment instructions for updates.

Can I apply before receiving my final diploma?+

The call requires the qualifying diploma by the test date. If you will not hold it by then, confirm your situation directly with UniCamillus before paying the non-refundable fee.

Where do I sit the test?+

The 21 September 2026 test is home-based and remotely proctored. You choose a suitable isolated room and must meet the computer, smartphone/tablet, camera, microphone, browser and internet requirements.

Is there a minimum passing score?+

A score of at least 9/90 makes a candidate eligible, but eligibility does not guarantee admission. Admission depends on rank and available places. Scores below 9 are not eligible even if seats later become available.

What happens if I perform poorly in one science subject?+

An enrolled student with fewer than 9 correct answers out of 15 in Biology, Chemistry or Physics receives an Additional Training Obligation (OFA) in that subject to complete during the first year.

Are the application and tuition fees refundable?+

The €180 test fee is non-refundable. Tuition refund and withdrawal rules are limited and contract-specific; for remote enrollment, the call describes a 14-day reconsideration right with a 5% deduction, excluding stamp duty and regional tax. Read the binding call and student contract before paying.

Does Meditaliano guarantee admission or a visa?+

No. We provide independent guidance and preparation. UniCamillus alone decides admission and enrollment; Italian authorities and diplomatic missions decide qualification recognition, pre-enrollment and visas.
